CURRENT SCHEDULE: Art Classes for children aged 4 - 10 years are currently held on Friday afternoons from 3:30-5:00pm. Students are given the opportunity to work in various mediums - drawing, painting, ceramics and printmaking. Mothers and fathers are asked to not stay in the studio and can wait in the Gallery Cafe if they wish. Fees are $25 WST per session for the 10-week term, payable by the session and covers the cost of all materials, including clay and the firing of pottery.
Special Adult Workshops can be arranged on demand with a minimum of six people. Workshops on any of the mediums listed below can be organised and are open to people over 15 years of age and all skill levels. Fees: $40 WST per person per session, which includes all materials except for fabric (bring 2-3 meters of any colour).
Hand-built ceramics (tiles, clay pots, sculpture, masks), Collage and Mixed Media, Elei (traditional fabric printing), Drawing (pastel, charcoal), Printmaking (monotypes, block-prints, drypoint etching), Painting and Drawing (watercolour, acrylic, tempera, oil)
